Sapulpa, Oklahoma is one of the few cities left that truly retains that “small-town” charm with access to big-city fun and entertainment. Tulsa is just a 15 or 20-minute drive, and the nearby Turner and Creek Turnpikes make getting around really easy.
There’s just one problem: Sapulpa businesses are hurting.
According to unofficial research, a Sapulpa-based retailer will typically last just over a year. In most cases, the reason for closing so soon was “we just don’t get enough foot traffic.”
It’s sometimes easier to overlook your hometown’s offerings for the newer, more exciting adventures nearby towns might bring. While no one could fault you for trying new things, it’s important that we all do our part to keep our community alive. The reason our town has such friendly people, high-ranking schools and beautiful parks is because we all work together to make it happen.
Our business owners need you, and your town needs her businesses.
