Featured Business: DeVries Farms
Located off Hwy 33, west of John Christner Trucking, DeVries Farms is not like the other vendors at Sapulpa Main Street Route 66 Farmer’s Market. They have no produce to speak of, other than farm-fresh eggs. The primary product they offer at their booth is bars of homemade soap, made from goat’s milk and an assortment of other ingredients, depending on your preference or needs. Ranging from almond, honey, cucumber, mint and sometimes an essential oil or two, DeVries bars of soaps are gaining notoriety, even outside Sapulpa.
“I have a lady from Nebraska who buys our soaps every month,” they said when I spoke with them. “She loves them to death and tell enough people.”
I purchased their “After the Rain” soap for my wife to try out. She used it that night and said it was “wonderful.” When I asked her to elaborate, she said that she appreciate how it was “a soft soap, that’s not too tough on the skin, but still cleansing. I love how it smells nice, but doesn’t overpower you.”
DeVries has their soaps available at their Etsy Store, and you can find all those and more at their booth each Saturday at the Sapulpa Farmer’s Market.
